GET REAL....

The Get Rea! team often get to meet up with some very unforgettable people in the course of their work. And working on this week's episodes was no different. We do hope you won't miss them, especially the grandmother who went trampoline-jumping at the age of 70!

Episode 13: Gentle Goodbyes
TX : Mon, Oct 29, 8.30pm and 11.30pm
Synopsis: There’s always too little time to do the many things we want to do. And even less time when a terminal illness hits. Cheryl Fox finds out how some families prepare for death even when no one is ill; and learns how gentle that final goodbye can be even when it is imminent - simply because the joy of living always come first.

Episode 14: Boundaries of Decency
TX: Wed, Oct 31, 8.30pm and 11.30pm
Synopsis:
When tragedies hit home, and make the news, some families have had to put up with insensitive comments and requests from members of the public. When a pair of siblings uploads video clips of their father, a stroke patient, on the internet, they are slammed for humiliating him. Why do we bash someone when they are already going through a hard time? Find out how harsh the court of public opinion can be at times.

And as always, do send your feedback and suggestions to getreal@channelnewsasia.com

Get Real - Episode 13..miss this episode. Did Cheryl Fox talk about her own father's cancer? His father and I used to play in the softball league...a most pleasant person even when he was sick at SGH, he was still with lots of humour as always. God Bless his soul! Freddy Fox...just passed away recently.
