I sometimes wonder whether the music that we make is a turn-on or a turn-off to people in the congregation.
Alternatively, I've also heard that since we go to mass to worship God in the liturgy of the word and eucharist, factors like the priest, the sermon, the choir's singing is secondary to the intent of worship.
