mass emails

I guess everyone has their quirks and pet peeves.
Well one of mine is those LOOOOOOOOONG string of emails that I get on choir during the week.
I HATE those.
I don't work in civil service or for big companies, maybe that is how communication is done within the office??????

Well, if I am the BOSS of any BIG company, I'll have a message board where I put up the announcements. Then people have to make it their responsibility to go and read the message board for updates. You can read it in the mornings, the evenings, during toilet breaks, everyday or once a week......don't care, your choice. Plus if I am the BOSS, I'd also take note who does not read the message board and is not aware of office updates. This beats memos and memos that get sent around.
Hmm....I guess I see myself as the boss that hire based on the individuals' initiative and responsibility. As long as the work gets DONE; I don't care how you do it, how long it took for you to do it.....just get it DONE.

I've always told my student, if you need 10 repetitions to get that passage played correctly, you do 10 repetitions. And if you are the type of student that needs 3 repetitions, then do it in 3. I don't care if you did your theory homework at 12 midnight or a week ago.....as long as you understood and the homework is completed.

FYI: Charlene and Passion both have admin permission to this blog.
The purpose is so that they can come to this blog and use it to communicate their absence.
Plus, I've ALWAYS told passion that there is an organist roster set up HERE, so that the purpose of a roster is so that when it is your turn to cho kang, you pretty well cho kang.

And if you notice, JULY roster is OUT. On my diary I've have rostered out August as well.

Silliwillie, hope you get WELL SOON:-)
We look forward to hearing you sing in choir again.

I've also put up a poll of things that people might want to do at the next social.
No harm planning ahead:-)

The last time people came to my apartment, they commented that the swimming pool looks so inviting. Yep it does, there is jacuzzi too. I just wish there was a steam bath!
