Ascension

Went for sunset mass for Ascension, choir was regina coeli.
.....when you sing with this choir.....you have to switch vocabulary....because GOD is now sung....gerd....and then slang a bit and slide a bit....

Problem with responsorial psalms sung fast and upbeat?
The congregation can't come in on the response on time....plus....we can't catch up with the choir.

Done in rock band, shine jesus shine style.
Now....this style absulutely suited RCC to their element.

And then it sort of felt strange to have the recessional procession out done in PW style.
hmmmm.....

PW not liturgically suitable for mass leh.
hmmm....guess, I am a stickler for music suited for liturgy.
