14 stations marking the crucial landmarks of Christ's passion and death...
The choir was noticeably small
Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise because the mature voices blended beautifully.
Kudos to the 2 angels, sons of oh-my-darling, who were the only youths present.
I was behind Uncle J, one of the most most senior members of SCC, and I can vouch that uncle J went up and down on his knees....all 14 stations!!!!
Why?
Because going through the devotion MUST carry a deeper personal meaning.
And only YOU and YOU alone will experience the meaning that speaks to YOU.
And because it has meaning, then the 14 stations of Standing and Kneeling makes sense.
Somehow it unites each and every person's experience of Life with the Passion of Jesus.
My life don't always make sense.
Not in my head at least.
But in the spiritual journey, it MUST make sense.
Am I making sense?
