YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!

We have successful takeoff and mission accomplished......Hooray!

Feast Day - well in the end, I thought the Holy Spirit took control of everything as we submitted ourselves humbly (I was especially touched by prayers that day by my name nemesis Charle_ _(this is where our name spelling takes a different route, ha, ha)- speech was cut but we were not upset or rattled. We put up with almost all sorts of issues that went by the few weeks b4 the event. I believed most of those present (from our parish) would know by now what kind of a choir we are without mentioning so much specifics.

Kudos to Mary, Mummy Cow, Charle_ _ & especially, Oh my darling C _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ for doing a wonderful job at getting so much done for SCC. "Salutaris" to all of you...(I hope I didn't spell it wrong, sounds like the Seletaris water or something like that......but it's not...(ha..ha)

Feedback on soft or loud, I think it depend on where you are sitting. Those near the speakers did say organ was loud but in general, the whole choir with the music played was good. Some other feedbacks mentioned that the program was good with all that teasings and enetertainment by the MC and his crew. Yeah, the songs were great, too. They enjoyed and b4 you knew it, it was midnight and like Cinderella, many scrambled out to catch the buses or car-pool knowing that the whole event was a night of fun, laughter and entertainment. I think the whole event went well and the organisers did a good job.

What was most satisfying for me and my better half is that we fulfilled the 9-day novena and yesterday 22nd was also the 13th death anniversary of my mum, Irene (God bless her soul), who is also the mum of my English half-brother Christopher, so it was a nostalgic and memorable moment for me at mass and at the evening's proceedings...

SCC did come out tops in the eyes of God for everything we did last night. What was important was we believed in ourselves and we did it with God as our primary focus. For whatever talents or gifts given to each of us, we have put it to good use for the greater glory of His kingdom. We continually ask Him for His blessings on our choir.
