Music this week....

It was unanimous that CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS lifted the worship to a new level of high. And it was an excellent way to begin mass.

Well it goes to show that anything Charlotte Church can do, Scc can do 2!

But I have a testimony to make:
I usually have no idea what I am going to do, until I am doing it.
huh?
It is very strange indeed.
(Well, I suppose that is how the bible was written down...when we say that it was written by the Holy Spirit.)
The ability is there.
But the inspiration, the split second nanosecond frame by frame of what is conjuring up in my mind as the music spills out, I have very little idea what the next note is going to be.
When it is all done, I cannot replicate it ever again in the same way.

Then how do I know that it is the work of the Holy Spirit?

• For one, I really am not that smart:-)
• I pray before the first note is struck
• Something mystical happened yesterday. A gentle breeze swept around my feet.
• I did not check with little J if the gentle breeze blew over his feet though....Last time I asked M if she felt her palms tingling and she said no....so sometimes it just might be my imagination???

Cantoring with mouths wide open....
Now look into a mirror and say 'I'
Notice that you look like darlie's toothy grin.
Now try singing 'I' with the same toothy grin.
Honestly, that sounds quite awful.
now try singing 'I' keeping the mouth round, almost resisting the urge to finish off with the 'eee' vowels.
Now sing that into the microphone.
Bingo!

But I had a hard time convincing the cantor to do that yesterday.

Ministry....
If singing in a choir week after week does nothing for your resume, would you still do it?
Do we really sing for God's glory or do we sing for our glory?

But I do admit that I put choir on my resume....

I thought that was a very good article vs another article in the Sunday Times on sex and the single vietnamese ladies today.

And last night, uncle P shared something very beautiful with me:
"Now I take care of her......"
"You don't just throw a person away......"
Can you feel the love tonight....well moral of the story....
Even if the guy is a decade younger.....a soul mate is a soul mate.....and deep in your gut, you just know.
