For those new to the concept of CC, it can be a mega-clash of egos.

Digression....
When Jesus picked his disciples, he called and he called....not once did Jesus stopped to check if the ones he called approve of his choice. Moral of the story.....YOU GO AND WORK IT OUT AMONG YOURSELVES.

1. Time Management: I like the idea of sectionals and then coming together to do 2 grand rehearsals. Sort of like how they do the Nat'l Day floor formation. They use computers and experts to do the choreography....then the schools send reps to learn the steps. Then on grand rehearsals....instructions are shouted out through megaphones.

2. Ego management: While we do need ONE superego to do the massive co-ordination of running the show. Nobody really likes to do that job. But year in and year out, the same person does it, so year in and year out, we kind of stagnate in a la la la....style.

3. While Christmas and Feast Day masses are generally one hour or slightly more, Easter mass is a LONG mass because of all the rituals, the candle procession, the exultet, the baptism.....tada tada.....
What I am trying to say is having done it last year, I feel like I need RED BULL to get the job done. The only time I felt it was a breeze was when one year we had Jackie, Mer and myself.
Then there was one year we had Jon and myself, and that was quite a cool combination. I don't quite like the year where we had violins, and flutes, and guitars. Personally it was too rojak.

4. DREAM plan.....It would be awesome if we stuck to ONE style. And I am recommending the really CLASSICAL style. Ok....I am biased here. But it is SO GRAND, compared to the dom cha cha way that is so lackadaisical....la la la....

5. Musicians are really quite eng at CC until like the last half and hour when everybody comes back together. So with the time management plan proposed, this will free up the eng-ness.
